LIFEGUARD
TRAINING

This course is designed for individuals who are seeking to become a professional lifeguard. Participants will learn what to do in an aquatic emergency.  This course includes a valid lifeguard certification for 1 year,  including CPR, AED, and First Aid certification. 

 

SWIM REQUIREMENTS:

300 yards of free and/or breaststroke, surface dive to a depth of 9–12 feet, returning to the surface with a 10-pound object, swimming 25 yards back to the starting point, treading water for 2 minutes.

LIFEGUARD RECERTIFICATION

To take part of our lifeguard recertification class the student must be over the age of 15, must have a current lifeguarding certificate or one that expired within 45 days.

SWIM REQUIREMENTS:

JUNIOR LIFEGUARD TRAINING

This course is a recreational and educational program for children ages 10-14 years old. The program teaches kids the basics of First Aid and CPR, aquatic safety, and various water rescue technique

WATER SAFETY INSTRUCTOR
(WSI) TRAINING

The purpose of the Water Safety Instructor (WSI) course is to train instructor candidates to teach Learn-to-Swim lessons to 6months to adults. The student must be a minimum age of 16.

 

 

SWIM REQUIREMENTS:

Candidates must demonstrate  proper swimming skills: Front Crawl – 25 yards Backstroke – 25 yards, Breaststroke – 25 yards, Butterfly – 15 yards, and Tread water for 2 minutes.
