Level 3: Intermediate: Stroke Improvement (ages 5-14)
Service Description
Level 3: Intermediate: Stroke Improvement (5-14): For swimmers who can swim 15 yards on front and back with proper body position and swim in water over their head. Focus on freestyle and backstroke stroke techniques, including rotary breathing in freestyle and straight arm recovery for backstroke. Emphasize correct body positioning and break down stroke mechanics to better understand movements while building endurance, and introduce dolphin kick and frog kick. Key Skills: Freestyle, backstroke, intro to dolphin kick and frog kick. Focus: Enhancing endurance and technique Objective: Build endurance and enhance technique for freestyle and backstroke while introducing breaststroke and butterfly.

Cancellation Policy
Registration: All participants must complete the online registration process before attending any lessons. Registration is based on class availability, and spots are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Any changes to the registration or class schedule must be approved by DiscoverH2O’s Aquatics Director. Payment and Refunds: Payment is due at the start of the lesson. We accept cash, credit/debit cards, checks, or Venmo @discoverh2o. Refund Policy: A full refund will be provided if a session is canceled by DiscoverH2O before the start of the program. No refunds or credits will be issued once the session has begun. In the event of illness or injury, a doctor’s note must be provided to request a refund, credit, or transfer to another session. Make-Up Policy: Make-up classes for missed lessons are only offered when DiscoverH2O cancels a class. No make-ups are available for missed classes due to personal scheduling conflicts. Any make-up class offered must be attended within the current session; no rollover of missed classes to future sessions.
